Guide2Derby is wholly private funded through Media partnership annual membership deals.

 

 

Guide2Derby Media partners Scheme

 

 

Guide2Derby Media partners are companies and organisations that showcase what is best about Derby and want to support local business development and improved access and circulation of relevant local information for the betterment of the wider Derby community.

 

The initiative acts as a vehicle to secure private sector funding for the Guide2Derby community work and becoming a Media partner gives a local business the opportunity to directly support Guide2Derby community and business-orientated activities.

 

This includes local news and information circulation on social media, local e-guide’s publications, maintaining local events and festival directories and more.

 

The scheme is limited to one Media partner from each sector at a time to avoid conflict of interest in media promotion opportunities for our members. This is therefore strictly on first come first serve basis

 

 

Benefits

 

In return for supporting the work of Guide2Derby, Media partners receive a wide variety of benefits in return.

 

 

1. Online marketing and promotion support-

 

 

• Enhanced business Directory Listing - Complete business profile, Full address details, Unlimited Business description, Up to Seven images, Website links and profile promotion on social media
• On-going Social Media promotion – Help in website promotion through Guide2Derby’s wide social media audience, one post per week on Twitter, Facebook and linkedIn groups
• Unlimited events promotion through Guide2Derby events calendar - Special events, etc

 

 

2. Local Advertising

 

 

• Button display Advertising- Brand display to 14000+ local business and consumer audience per month- We will run a button advert for promoting any business service or event for an agreed period in the relevant section of the Guide2Derby site. The button ad dimensions are 120px × 120px
• Premium display Advertising - Larger buttons will rotate in premium positions, the dimensions of Premium Ad are 300px × 250px front page banner and Bottom Banner Ad 835px × 100px.
• Guide2Derby e-Shot Advertising – This monthly e-Newsletter now goes out to over 950 businesses in Derby and Derbyshire.
• We now offer 4 Media Partners a banner advert on each e-Shot with a link direct to their website. This would be on a demand basis but would offer at least one banner per annum, likely more for those interested. Produced monthly and sent to Bondholders, this e-Shot promotes B2B opportunities and special deals/events etc

 

3. Media Coverage

 

 

• News editorials - Guide2Derby news now listed on Google news presents a wider circulation with views between 500- 2000 per publication
• Advertorials- An advert designed and built to look and feel like a press story, it is created in such a way that it looks, reads and is designed like a ordinary newspaper press or feature page.
• Press release support- Copy writing, editing, publication and promotion
• Special Reviews – Hotel, Restaurant, events etc reviews with social media promotions

 

4. Guide2Derby Media Partner e-shot – Media Partners receive profile opportunities in the Guide2Derby e-shot, a link to the website, press release and media coverage.

 

5. Guide2Derby e-Shot – This e-Newsletter now goes out to over 650 businesses in Derby and Derbyshire. We now offer Media Partner a banner at the top of each e-Shot with a link direct to their website.
