Singles on Valentines Day

After going through the holidays being single and with a relief with your head high, Valentines Day comes along. We all know what this means.

Everywhere you look or go is covered with red beautiful hearts, candies, chocolates and flowers to lure the ones in love. It doesn’t get any better than this, with couples holding hands and smiling to each other. This really makes it the hardest and loneliest day of the year for singles out there. It makes them isolated and makes them hate Valentines Day.

This is not the end of the world, Valentines Day is not just for couples, you can also treat your own valentine as well, I mean the most important person in your life; YOU. Yes, you can be your own Valentine.

There so many interesting opportunities singles out there can do on Valentines Day.

Remember Valentines Day is celebrated to express love to any one your close to. This can be friends, siblings, parents, grandparents or any one who made a difference in your life.

TIPS FOR SINGLES ON VALENTINES DAY

If you’re really desperate for company,

  • Take part in a speed date adventure.
  • Join a nearest Salsa class; here you’ll meet fellow singletons.
  • Attend courses offering help to develop your flirting skills. This can be attending Flirtshop, a three-day multi-session course on the Isle of Wight at The Grange.

If you’re not looking for company

  • Get a weekend away somewhere you’ve never been before.
  • Get together with your single friends
  • It’s said that fresh air and exercise can help boost your self-Esteem. Clear your mind on a refreshing walk in the countryside.
  • Relish your freedom by doing something you’ve never done before.
  • On Valentines Day, the only person you need to please is YOU. So  pamper your self. This can be at a spa, sauna, Jacuzz. To avoid loved up couples, book yourself where it’s a place for your            gender only
  • Party hard! This can be going clubbing with friends, cinemas and dinner. Here you’ll know that life is fun in the company of loving friends.

Do not sit there and sulk. Think positive, it’s not the end of the world. Think of your achievements.

I love the blog you did about singles on valentines day.It helped me think that valentines isn't always about dates or gifts, but about the people around you who loves you. your blog is very encouraging and it helps people realise that they are not alone and i's not the end of the world.
