Description:

Kedleston Hall is a Palladian mansion that used to be home to the Curzon family, Lords Scarsdale, who arrived in Derbyshire in the 12th century. The building is located in Allestree within the boundaries of Allestree Park.

The inside includes the Marble Hall which looks original because it has seen very little modification since the work was completed. The mansion also has a museum of extraordinary furniture and artefacts collected by Lord Curzon (1859 - 1925).

A tour of the area through established walks can take between one and two hours.
