Description:

Located in the city centre, Derby Cathedral belongs to the Church of England.  The current church was built by James Gibbs in 1925 yet the tower dates back to the 14th century.

The original church was built by King Edmund around 945AD,but there is no trace of this original building now.

The Church previously known as The All Saints Church became a cathedral in 1927. Among other features the church has the oldest ring of 10 bells in the country and the ordination of new priests and deacons by the bishop takes place here.
