Donington Park in derby

Donington Park which will soon be home to the British Fomular1 Grand Prix is only about 8 miles south of Derby.  The FIA and Donington Ventures Leisure LTD signed an agreement in July which will see the British Grand Prix moving here from Silverstone in 2010.

Donnington Park has the largest Grand Prix museum in the world with over 130 exhibits showing the chronology of motor racing from the turn of the 20^th century.

The exhibition house also has the largest collection of McLaren racing cars, Ferraris,  helmets and a 1936 double engine Alpha Romeo. Motor racing fans can bring their cars and bikes on motor racing days and race along the circuit with no speed limits.
