The Ramblers’ Association welcome to join them on the walks that they organise each year for them members. Visitors from other areas and anyone interested in walking and the Ramblers’ Association are welcome to join them on these walks.

Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra at Assembly Rooms

Grieg’s score for Ibsen’s play Peer Gynt includes the well-known evocations of sunrise and f the sinister goings-on in the Hall of the Mountain King! Mahler’s 4^th Symphony takes us into a Grimm’s fairy-take world – innocent and spooky by turns. The vocal finale offers a child’s very down-to-earth view of heaven. For this, and for a selection of Mozart’s arias, the orchestra is joined by the world-renowned sorprano Laura Aikin.
