Derby and Derbyshire Property industry expected to continue growing

A recent survey on Derby's property industry revealed a rise in activity. The report produced by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, showed that 15% more chartered surveyors in Derby and Derbyshire reported a rise rather than a fall in property prices, up from 9% in March.

Activity is also expected to rise over the coming months with property sales expectations rising from 10% to 32% in Derby and Derbyshire.

Improvement in terms of inquiry levels, sales and new instructions, which provided renewed optimism for the spring months were recorded according to Stephen Gadsby, from property agents Gadsby Orridge in Derby.

Stephen Jeffery of Jeffery Jones Partnership testified that the level of instructions in Derby continues to grow.
