Derby county Show on this weekend! Thousands expected to attend

Derby county Show is on the  this weekend on the 27^th of June 2010 at the Showground in Elvaston as usual.

The Derby county show will have a wide variety of tents containing Food Exhibitors, the Derbyshire Women’s Institute, Rabbit Tent, Cavy (Guinea pig) tent, Pigeons and Poultry, a colourful Floral Art and Horticulture tent, Crafts and Rural Crafts including demonstrations.

A Premier Dog Show licensed by the Kennel Club will be there as well.Moreover, magnificent cattle, sheep, and shire horses have their own section, horses of all descriptions plus show jumping in a separate ring.

All day long in the Main Ring and Events Rings there will be, from children’s entertainments, rides, and amusements.Vintage Cars, Motorcycles, Engines and Vintage Tractors have separate sections where they can be viewed. There is ample FREE parking at the site.

 When it comes to eating there will be an array of places to eat, from burger bars, to organic food stalls, Ice cream sellers to Pie shops. You are welcome to bring your own picnics too!

For dog lovers the good news is dogs are allowed at the Derby county show but must be under control and on a short leash at all times.
