Derby car dealer won a major deal to sponsor Sheffield Arena

A car supermarket in Derby, Motorpoint, based in Chartwell Drive, has signed a five-year deal to sponsor Sheffield Arena.

The deal is a seven-figure sum investment to rename Sheffield Arena. A new name for the venue will be unveiled at a ceremony on Monday morning, which will be attended by Gary Warren, managing director of Motorpoint, and Rob O'Shea, general manager of the arena.

Motorpoint, also has outlets in Burnley, Glasgow and Peterborough. Last year the company  sold 44,000 vehicles nationwide.
