A Derbyshire company Bombardier urgently looking for 400 temporary workers

A Derbyshire company, Bombardier is looking for extra staff to help with several contracts that are all reaching their busiest periods. It has instructed Shorterm to find between 200 and 400 workers to fill a number of different roles.

The firm, which already employs about 2,500 people, wants to sign up staff on a 12-month basis as it enters the delivery stage on a number of contracts, including one to supply new trains for the London Underground.

Bombardier is hoping to attract people who may have taken redundancy from other major manufacturers in the area, including JCB and Toyota.

Shorterm will be holding interviews for the new positions at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday, August 21, from 9am to 4pm.
