This year is going to the year that no-one will be bored with many events going around Derby including 2 live shows. Cinderella is the main pantomime at the Assembly Rooms this year staring Neil Morrissey (Buttons) and Kelle Bryan (Cinderella).

 

Cinderella promises to be the most lavish pantomime ever to be staged at the Assembly Rooms, making an invitation to Prince Charming’s ball a must this Christmas. Come along to see if the slipper fits and whether good overcomes bad in the fairytale of Cinderella.

Other productions such as “The Snow Queen” which promises to be a heart – warming festive treat which will leave young and old and alike gasping in wonder and excitement. This show will be running from the 27th November to 16th January 2010.

Chellaston Players present Dick Whittington a traditional family pantomime directed by Michael Gaunt. The story is based upon Dick on his travels and whoever goes to see the production should expect a fun filled evening of entertainment for all the family.

The 2010 production of “Puss in Boots” has been written by St Nicholas Players long serving musical director Phil Wensley, earlier performances of this title were in 1969 and 1988, but Phils script and music are up to date.
