According to The Derby Evening Telegraph, research shows that the number of people out of jobs is going down, therefore meaning the number of jobs going in Derbyshire has increased.
(Wednesday, December 16, 2009, 10:30) People that were worried about Christmas shopping are now in advantage as it looks like there are more Christmas jobs going earning them some money for the Christmas season.
“Figures released by the Office for National Statistics this morning show that the number of job seekers in Derby fell by 22 from 7,412 in October to 7,390 in November.
In the rest of Derbyshire, the amount of people claiming work-related benefits went down by 327, from 17,422 to 17,095.”
