Description:
Heavy metal legends Heaven & Hell will headline this year's 10th anniversary Bloodstock Open Air festival at Catton Park.
Event founder Paul Gregory of Spondon, said he wanted to make sure such an important milestone was "well and truly" celebrated with a memorable act.
Mr Gregory said he was delighted to have them.
Bloodstock started 10 years ago when the band operated indoors at the Assembly Rooms in Derby.
Within two years, Bloodstock became a regular sell-out, and outgrew the Assembly Rooms.
Mr Gregory said: "That's when the idea for an outdoor festival and an indoor one started, but trying both in 2005 became a nightmare.
"We have settled on just an outdoor festival in August and we are expecting the crowd to top 15,000."
"We have worked hard to get that respect. We want to give something back to our brilliant fans. Bloodstock has definitely come of age.
"It was a great coup for us to find this site at Walton-on-Trent, because it is centrally placed for fans and a flat area which doesn't flood easily."
Camping will be available and a band will appear the night before the main event. Signing sessions take place throughout the weekend.
